My holiday

In the holidays I went to see my aunty for the night and go ice sckating and then we had pizza but it was burnt a little bit but it was ok. The next day, we went to Sumner beach and had an ice chocolate with cream and chocolate sauce and then I went to get my jab on Saturday and then I was on the Maori Tv. I also went to see my mum in Culverden and I fed baby sheep and calves and that's what I did in the hoildays.

Bert Sutcliffe 

He is a new zealand cricket player from 1947-1965 he is one of the best cricket players in new zealand.

 Sutcliffe was a successful left-hand batsman. His batting achievements on tour in England in 1949, which included four fifties and a century in the Tests, earned him the accolade of being one of Wisden's Five Cricketers of the Year. He was born on 17 november 1923 bert died 20 April 2001.

She appeared in 19 Test matches for New Zealand, making a high score of 126 not out and averaging 52.04 with the bat. Hockley captained New Zealand in six Tests, drawing them all.

litmus experiment

 materials:

1 red litmus paper

2 Bule litmus paper 

3 sodum hydroxide

4 hydroxide acid 

5 4 test tubes 

steps:

1 Rip the litmus paper in half and put half in each test tube.

2 Add 3 drops of hydrochloric acid to the blue litmus paper in test tube.

3 Add 3 drops of hydrochloric acid to the red litmus paper in test tube.

4 Add 3 drops of Sodium Hydroxide to the blue litmus paper in test tube 3.

5 Add 3 drops of Sodium Hydroxide to the red litmus paper in test tube 4.

findings:

LISA CARRINGTON

Lisa Carrington has become New Zealands gratest ever Olympian. After winning there gold medals in totel she has one six medals takes her past the five won fellow kayakers Ina Ferguson and Paul MacDonald, and equestrian star Sir Mark Todd. How ever this is about lisa carrington and what she dose and some facts about Lisa. 

Age: Lisa is 32 years of age.

 Lisa is a Athlete she began paddling in 2006 

Reason for taking up the sport: After following her brothers into competitive surf life saving, she took up kayaking to improve her skills on the surf ski. 

She became the first New Zealand female sprint paddler to win a gold medal at the world championships when she claimed victory in the K1 200m at the 2011 edition in Szeged, Hungary. She set a national record for both genders when she won her fourth world championships gold medal in the K1 200m at the 2015 World Championships in Milan, Italy.

What i do after school 🐴

 

When I go to Mum's I go and ride on the Horses at the ridding school. I have my own Horse there and her name is Annie. And how I get the Horse riding lessons is I do work to help tidy up the barn and clean up the hay shed and clean the tack and put the ropes in order so they know what one is short or long. Every day After i get back from school i go and get reddy for ether horse ridding or celaning the farm up then Mum drops me of at the ridding school and i have 1-2 hours of that then Mum comes back to pic me up. then we  go back home. The chemical in a chilli is capsi noid 

Equipment:

1. Milk

2. Water

3. Coca Cola

4. Tasting cup

5. Chilli.

      Method:

1. You will work in groups of three for this experiment.

2. Each person in the group will use one of the drinks with the chilli.

3. You will then swap results in your group so that everyone has the same

4. results.

5. Each member of the group needs to have their own tasting cup.

6. This will be used for putting the different liquids in as we cool off the chilli

7. in our

8. mouths.

9. Place a piece of chilli in your mouth.

10. After 10 seconds you will drink the liquid that you have in your cup.

11. As you do this you will complete a results chart.

You will be recording the following using Yes or No

• The effectiveness of the liquid immediately.

• The effectiveness of the liquid after 10 seconds

Yeast

What is yeast it is a are fungi yeast has been her for thousands of years. It is all aorundus. There are man made yeast and Natural yeast. There are over 1000 kinds of yeast it macks food tast good. Ther is carbodeoxid. It is uesd in some cheses. And you can harvest yeast your self. 

Equiptement: Spoons,Kettle,Bowl,Beaker,Cloth sieve,Funel,Plastic bottle,

Materials: 50ml warm water, 1/2 tsp active dride yeast, 1/2 tsp suger, 1/2 tsp ground ginger 

3/4 cup suger, 1/2 tsp cream of tarta, 1L cold water, Jucie 1/2 lemon, 1 tsp ginger beer bug.

Methord:

1. in a large bowl. put the suger and the cream of tata. then add the warm water.

2. stir to disolved the suger befor adding the cold water.

3. add the ginger beer bug to the large bowl of cold water.

4. stir well and then put into your clean bottle.

5. lable your bottle with your grup name.

6. place all the bottles in the class contaner.

7. store in a cool, dark place for one week befor drinking.

8. mack suer you open the bottle in the kithen sink as it might overflow. open the cap bit by bit to allow the ari to escape.

3 using  an ice-cream stick you will dip it into the sample. one the sample is on the stick you will tast it and tell your partner your response.

This week we watched a movie about Bullying and how it hurt a boy called Auggie. He had a big sister called Via.

He was picked on because of the way of his face was.

When he was wearing a mask on Halloween he heard his friend say that if he look like him he would kill myself.

This made Auggie feel sad and like he had no real friends

Stop Motion films

Today I am talking about our stop motion films. we are doing our stop motion films on the pearl and the sea alien. In my group is divine Michael,Olivia and Hannah and this is our slide show that we made i hope you like it. Christchurch floods 2021

Today (Tuesday 1 Jun 2021) I am writing about the floods. Heavy downfalls from Canterbury's code red storm saw floodwaters rise, cutting power, threatening lives and property in Christchurch and beyond.

A state of local emergency was declared for the whole region of Canterbury following heavy rain and flooding that began Sunday. Forecasters say the heavy downpours this end of May, 2021 could be a one in a hundred year event. The floods mostly hit in Ashburton. Hope you enjoyed my blog about floods.
